Safety

 Safety is taken very seriously in the sport of speed skating. Rules and regulations with SSC, BCSSA and PGBSSC are in place to make safety the number one priority for all skaters, coaches, executive and club members.  Safety includes the skater’s personal protective equipment, ice regulations, first aid and code of conduct and behavior expectations.
