Week of March 4, 2018

4/3/2018

Good evening, Blizzard families,

Just two weeks remain in our regular short track season. Coaches will notify skaters' families of what day is the last day of skating for each group.

Congratulations to our skaters who were down at BC Short Track Provincial Competition this weekend. Stay tuned for official results later today or tomorrow.

Here are this week's updates.

1. Fundraising

The end of the season is slowly approaching.  Please have all receipts (Save-On and bottles), Skate-a-Thon pledge money and forms, Fundscrip orders must be in by Tuesday, March 13.  Elaina is at the rink on Tuesdays for the Fundamental practice and Saturday mornings.  If you are unable to drop off at those times, please email us and we will be happy to coordinate a time to meet with you.

Thank you,

Elaina and Amber

2. Equipment Returns

For any skaters who have rented or loaned (Learn to Skate) skates and/or equipment, it  must be returned following your last practice. If you are unable to be at the arena at that evening please contact our Equipment Manager, Dave Konwicki, directly at dkonwick@telus.net.

Your skate rental deposit cheques will be returned to you once your rentals have been returned.

Have a great week.

Kessie Konwicki, Registrar
on behalf of the PG Blizzard Speed Skating Club
