Week of January 21, 2018

21/1/2018

Good evening Blizzard families,

Congratulations to all our Blizzard athletes who competed this weekend in Fort St. John at BC Long Track Provincial Championships. Safe travels home.

1. Fundraising - Skate-a-Thon

It's that time of year!  The Skate-a-Thon will held February 13th.

The FUNdamental and Intermediate group will skate from 5:45-6:45.  The Intermediate and Advanced groups will skate from 6:45-7:45.  If your skater is unsure of which group she/he will be skating in, please have her/him contact her/his coach.  As this is one of the few fundraisers in which the skaters participate, please encourage them to get pledges from family and friends.  Please note, that because we're working on another a great fundraiser for the following weekend, pledge money does not have to be handed in right away.  The pledge sheet is included in this email. If you have problems printing it, please email pgblizzard.fundraising@gmail.com

Thank you,

Elaina and Amber

2. Coyote Cup - January 27th

Many Blizzard athletes are heading down to Kamloops next weekend for the 2018 Coyote Cup. Watch for more information this week regarding the bus departure time and locations.

Thank you, and have a great week!

Kessie Konwicki, Registrar
on behalf of the PG Blizzard Board of Directors
