6. Oval Ice Marking
The Outdoor Ice Oval team has been doing a spectacular job of making and maintaining the Oval ice over the past few weeks. Lyle Dickieson and a team of ~12 volunteers have been very successful in building a great base and maintaining ice quality.
Final preparations for the competition will be done this week - ice marking will be done on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Dave Connell is coordinating this task, with help from Dave Konwicki. These gentlemen may need some last minute assistance. If you are available to help on Thursday evening please contact Dave Konwicki at email@example.com.

If your family needs to modify your skater's registration please contact me (Kessie, firstname.lastname@example.org) as soon as possible this week. Skaters who are competing this weekend must be properly registered with BCSSA/SSC in order to compete. I will be at the rink on Tuesday and Thursday evening this week, and at the Oval on Wednesday night.
