Congratulations to all our Blizzard athletes on a fantastic day of skating this Saturday at the PG Long Track interclub competition. The ice was in great condition, and Mother Nature seems to have heard Keri's request for warmer temperatures (but not too warm). Many new PBs were set by our skaters! Thank you to all the volunteers - Officials and helping hands - for helping to make the meet so successful. Without you we could not offer our athletes the opportunity to compete on the Outdoor Oval. The Oval Ice Team did an amazing job getting the ice ready for Saturday - THANK YOU!! Congratulations to Keri McLeod (meet coordinator) and Kari Rae (meet recorder). These ladies are the cornerstones of our meets and put in a significant amount of work both up to and on the day of the meet. Great work ladies! Kari has provided the meet protocol if anyone has questions about the races. Results will be available on the BCSSA website very soon. 1. Fundraising Thank you to all that bought 50/50 tickets at our Long Track Meet this past Saturday. We are now entering the last half of the season. Thank you to everyone that has been fundraising with Operation Red Nose, Purdy's Chocolates, Save On Foods, Bottle Returns, and Fundscrip. Just a reminder that Save On Foods, Bottle Returns and Fundscrip are on going. With the Coyote Cup fast approaching, why not buy some gift cards from Fundscrip to use while down in Kamloops. Purdy's Easter Catalogue are coming soon so keep an eye for them in the change rooms. If you are wondering where you are at with your levy, please email pgblizzard.fundraising@gmail.com. If you have bottle return receipts or Save On Food Gift Card purchase receipts, you can give them to Elaina or Amber. Thanks, Elaina 2.
